Dr. Marie Samarani Akl
Dr. Marie Samarani Akl, is specialized in pediatrics and adolescents medicine with a passion for providing comprehensive care to children and supporting families.
Currently, Dr Marie works at Lebanese American University Medical Center-Rizk Hospital, where she also serves as an educator, teaching and mentoring medical residents and interns.
In addition to hospital work, Dr. Marie is the co-founder of a pediatric polyclinic, designed to provide quality multidisciplinary care in a family centered environment.
Dr. Marie is also committed to raising awareness about children’s health by hosting workshops for parents, empowering them with the knowledge to promote the well-being of their families.
Furthermore, she animates the free course “Dawra Ta3ref” (Its her turn to Know), which educates girls and mothers about menstruation in a supportive and comprehensive way, empowering them with the knowledge and confidence to navigate this natural phase of life.
